April - Week 1: The Gift of New Life

As we move through the season where many reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the foundation of our faith, salvation.
Salvation is more than a moment. It is the beginning of a transformed life.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” (John 3:16) reminds us that this gift is freely given. And 2 Corinthians 5:17 affirms that in Christ, we are made new.
Yet, while salvation happens in a moment, new life is something we learn to walk in daily.
In my own journey after salvation, I have learned to live intentionally, moment by moment, not striving to earn God’s love, because that is already secured through His grace, but choosing to walk in it. This newness requires yielding to the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to guide my thoughts, decisions, and actions so His transformation can take root.
I have had to allow God to renew my thinking and unlearn patterns that no longer align with who I am becoming.
Salvation gave me a new identity, but I must choose daily to live from it.
This shows up in how we:
Make decisions
Lead others
Respond to challenges
Define success
New life is not just something we believe in. It is something we live out.
This week, pause and reflect:
Where am I still holding onto old patterns?
What would it look like to fully live from my new identity in Christ, shaped by God’s grace and the power of the resurrection?
Purposeful living begins when we align our daily lives with who we have become in Christ.
Thanks for your support as we continue on this journey together.
