As I walked during Spring Break, I admired the beauty of nature. But I paused to notice something obvious yet striking. Some plants had fully bloomed, their flowers inviting butterflies, while others were beginning to bloom. There were also herbaceous plants at various stages of new growth.
The contrast reminded me that renewal does not happen all at once. But when it comes, it becomes visible.
Bible declares: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)
There are moments in life when what God is doing is no longer hidden. It begins to take shape. Opportunities become clearer. Direction feels more defined. The question is no longer, “Is something happening?”
The question becomes, “Am I ready to step into it?”
In my own journey, I have realized that new beginnings may require a decision. You may not need to wait any longer or do any more analysis. Your willingness to move forward is essential.
Renewal is about releasing what is familiar and embracing what is emerging.
It may mean stepping into a new level of leadership, pursuing an opportunity that once felt distant, or letting go of old patterns, expectations, or timelines. How about your relationship with God the Father? Are you distant from Him? In this season of newness, consider inviting Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior, and see this newness in a different light. Look for
The tension is real. We want certainty before movement. But growth in this season requires trust before clarity. Do you trust the Lord to lead you in this new season?
As we come to the end of March and approach a new month, take a moment to pause and reflect:
What is becoming clear in your life right now?
Where is God asking you to take a step forward?
What do you need to release to embrace this new season fully?
Purposeful living means recognizing when it is time to move and choosing not to hold back. Renewal is about what God begins and how we respond when it is time to step into it.
I appreciate your support as we continue on this journey to the full devotional.
