Welcome to August — the eighth month of the year. Biblically, the number 8 symbolizes new beginnings, resurrection, and a fresh start. After walking through the fullness of July, August reminds us that God is doing something new; not only around us but within us.

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” (Isaiah 43:19)

“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to tread on the heights.” (Habakkuk 3:19)
