HAPPY NEW MONTH! 🎄✨🙏🏾❤️
December arrives with gentle whispers of hope. For many, it is the month where the world slows down, lights shine a little brighter, and hearts soften as we remember the greatest gift ever given-
God’s promise fulfilled in Christ. For others, it becomes the busiest month, driven by the anticipation of ending the year well or by the regret of not having done enough.

For many years, December was one of my happiest and most reflective months. But everything changed when I lost my beloved mother on December 28, 2022. This season now carries both deep emotion and treasured memories. Yet even in grief, I hold onto hope, knowing that her legacy of love continues to shine through my life. Whether facing grief or any emotions associated with December, join me in entering December with an open heart, trusting God’s promise to complete the healing and restoration He has begun and start new things!💛🙏🏾
If November taught us gratitude, then December invites us into holy anticipation- not anxiety about what is or what could have been, but the sacred waiting and joyful expectation of God’s love and promises fulfilled.
The meaning of the number twelve (12) in the Bible represents divine authority, completion, and God’s perfect order. As we enter the twelfth month, we are reminded that the God who began the year with us is the same God who carries us into completion. He wastes nothing, forgets nothing, and finishes everything He starts.
Our anchor verses for this month are:
Philippians 1:6“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Isaiah 9:6“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given… and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
December teaches us that hope is not wishful thinking; it is a confident expectation rooted in God’s unchanging Word. It reminds us that even when the year felt heavy, God’s promises remain unchanged. His light still breaks through. His peace still surrounds us.
As you step into this month, take a moment each day to reflect on the hope Christ brings:
Hope that restores
Hope that strengthens
Hope that anchors the soul
Hope that reminds us we are deeply loved
No matter how your year has unfolded, December assures us that God is with us - Emmanuel.
🙏🏾 Prayer for December
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of December — a month of hope, light, and divine promise. May this month remind us of the greatest gift You gave us: life through Christ. Fill our hearts with peace and joyful expectation. Help us to finish this year with gratitude, to hold onto Your promises, and to enter the new year with renewed hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾❤️
