July Reflections: Embracing God’s Perfecting Work in Our Lives

As we welcome the month of July -the seventh month, we’re reminded that the number 7 symbolizes fullness, completeness, and perfection in biblical terms. This is a powerful season to pause and reflect on how God is working to perfect the things that concern us.

“The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” (Psalm 138:8)

Each day offers an opportunity to align our hearts, our hopes, and our plans with God’s divine purpose. Fulfillment is not a distant destination we’re striving for; it’s found in the moment-by-moment trust and surrender to God’s plan.

Perhaps you’ve started a journey this year that feels unfinished, or you’re waiting on answers to prayers. Be encouraged:

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6)

God never abandons the work of His hands. His mercy covers us daily, and His faithfulness assures us that He will see us through to completion.

Lord, in this seventh month, we thank You for Your perfecting work in our lives. Help us to walk in alignment with Your will and trust in Your timing. May we experience the fullness of Your joy, peace, and purpose each day. Amen.🙏🏾🙏🏾
